So, as you may have guessed, I now find myself living in Thailand, where I sweat my balls off in the garden on a daily basis as I write, while providing, it seems, a much-needed blood supply for the local ant and mosquito populations.
There are some things I do like about this country, though. The first is the lovely people. The second is my dogs, who, as mentioned elsewhere, I took from the street and who are now a happy mix of feral and domesticated.
The third thing I like about living here is the diversity of life that you see on a daily basis. The freedom of life that exists here, along with the sun and the crazy roads. There are the beautiful beaches, temples, and, of course, the dark side, where the strange characters I like to watch seem to gravitate and roam. All of this provides incredible fuel for the whacked-out mind that I seem to possess.
Soon I will be releasing a series of books set here in Thailand. The first is 'Loser,' which is a wild mix of seediness, beauty, and Buddhism. And yes, itβs another wild ride.
